ASCII code not accepted?

I tried using some acsii code to make a degree symbol, and the software didn't parse it. It actually displays as º. :-) Is there any way to fix that?

Also, I will be co-admin, so I'd like to be able to have the "three minutes to edit" feature turned off.

Thanks!

It didn't parse your quote marks either.

you can hit 'HTML' on the text editor to type ascii text, otherwise, the editor is similar to a rich text editor, like gmail.

I did click "HTML" but it still didn't parse.

We're currently working on a new more advanced editor that will be available for both starting threads and for replies. It should allow for more flexbile input as well as being easier to use for casual forum users. We hope to have it available soon.
